How does forgetting automatically work?
When you leave Sporløs, it starts counting. If you're away longer than the time you picked in Settings (right away, 1 minute or 15 minutes), every tab and all site data are thrown away. With “Only when I tap”, your tabs stay until you tap Forget everything. If iOS closes the app in the background, everything is gone as well, because none of it was ever saved.
How do I forget everything right now?
Tap the flame, Forget everything. Every tab closes and the session's data is thrown away. There's no undo.
Why do I have to sign in again?
Because Sporløs forgot the cookie that kept you signed in. That's the point, but it does mean signing in again after each forget.
How do I lock Sporløs with Face ID?
Turn on the lock in Sporløs's Settings. Sporløs then asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when you open it. iOS does the checking; Sporløs never sees your face or your passcode.
How do I change the search engine?
Open Settings in Sporløs and pick another one under Search engine: DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Google or Bing.
A page doesn't work properly
Some sites break when their trackers or scripts are blocked. If you've turned on Block JavaScript, turn it off and reload. If that doesn't help, turn off tracker blocking in Settings for a moment. Asking for the desktop site can help too.
Why can't I download files?
Downloads are blocked on purpose: a downloaded file would be a trace on your phone. If you need a file, share the link to another app and download it there.
Where are my history and bookmarks?
There aren't any, by design. Sporløs remembers nothing from one session to the next, so there's nothing to look up later and nothing for anyone else to find.
Why does a link ask to open another app?
Links that would open another app, such as Maps or Mail, ask first, so nothing leaves Sporløs without you saying so.
A website asks for my camera or microphone
That's the web page asking, for example for a video call. Sporløs asks you first, and the page only gets access if you allow it.
I had Incognito (Color Browser). Where did it go?
It's now called Sporløs: the same app, rebuilt from scratch and renamed in 2026. It came as a normal update.
How do I get the show-off icons back on a new device?
Open Settings in Sporløs and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.
